Brassac-les-Mines is a cultural town. You can also enjoy the preserved nature of this place by walking on the trails along the Allier.
Located 50km from the south of Clermont-Ferrand, this town has known more than 500 years of mine activities. Today, the Mine Museum shows the life of the miners. It is an interesting and perfect place for all to discover the history of the village.
For car enthusiasts, Brassac suggested going back to 1950 (and before) with the Museum La Virée d’Antan. You can discover tens of cars exposed on 1500m².
You can also visit the Peynet Museum, which pays tribute to the works of the artist.
