The ‘Cité de la Préhistoire’, awarded the ‘Musée de France’ label, displays authentic objects from archaeological digs in the Ardèche and the northern part of the Gard department. This entertaining visit, with its games, fire demonstrations and other activities, will delight everyone. The village is also renowned for its wine-making. The local wine cooperative is one of the largest in Ardèche. The terroirs of Orgnac l'Aven were classified as AOC Côtes du Vivarais in 1999. Around 20 km from the campsite, head to the Ardèche gorges. This is the ideal place for hiking or canoeing, surrounded by the breathtaking scenery of the nature reserve. The lookout point of the Serre de Tourre offers one of the most stunning panoramic views. Also worth seeing: the Pont d'Arc, a natural arch 60 m high.
