Tourism / Discovery
Located at the gateway to Normandy, Saint-André-de-l'Eure is a small, peaceful town full of charm.
Its town council, built in 1933 in an Anglo-Norman style, is listed among "Ces belles mairies de France", a work published by Patrimoine Plus.
The town council belongs to monuments the town is proud to present, as does its church dating from the 16th century. Three fountains, built during the Second French Empire, also serve as a signature to this historic city.
South of the town, the "Plaines et Forêts" footpaths and mountain bike trails are spread over several courses from 6 to more than 16 km. These hiking trails lead, among other things, to the Moulinard forest, pass by a former brickworks and near the remains of munitions warehouses used by the German air force during the Second World War.
