Tourism / Discovery
Set between Blois and Bourges, Thénioux is a peaceful village of Berry, ideal for a restful stay. Along the banks of the Cher and the Canal de Berry, it offers a natural and quiet setting.
In summer, take a refreshing break by renting a small electric boat on the Berry canal. From 30 minutes to half a day, this is a fun way to discover the surroundings. These waterways are also great fishing spots.
There are many hikes starting from Thénioux, ranging from 3.1 to 14 km:
- La Garenne (3.25 km)
- La Roussellerie (4.2 km)
- Le Bois Brun (6 km)
- La Fontaine (7 km)
- Le Village de Boisaudran (10 km)
- La Croix D'Annereau (14 km)
- Le Bufféré (6 km)
- Le Bourg (3.1 km)
Looking for a dynamic, sporting activity? Park-Nat is a natural obstacle course located to the east of the village. On site, 3 courses await you:
- "Discovery" for adults (24 obstacles)
- "Kid" from 5 years (25 obstacles)
- "Baby" designed for the younger ones between 18 months and 5 years. This is a natural motor skills course of around 100 m.
Bourges, the capital of the Berry region, is just 50 km away and offers plenty of activities, walks, visits and discoveries of all kinds: its medieval centre, the Palais Jacques Cœur, its marshes, the gardens of the Archbishop's Palace and the Prés Fichaux.
