Tourism / Discovery
Right in the heart of Sologne, in the triangle between Bourges, Orléans and Gien, spend a pleasant stay in nature at the CAMPING de mon Village of Ménétréol-sur-Sauldre.
Set on the banks of the Petite Sauldre, a first category river, two communal ponds and the Sologne with its many footpaths, this campsite is ideal for nature lovers (trout fishing, strolling, hiking…).
The campsite is equipped for everyone: football pitch and tennis courts, basketball and handball half court, boules pitch, ping-pong table and playground for children.
For a charming, bucolic walk, visit the Tourbières des Landes, one of the last remaining peat bogs in a good state of conservation. There's a trail where you can discover the flora and fauna that inhabit this natural area. Guided tours are often organised.
Make the most of your trip in Sologne and immerse yourself in wild landscapes and observe animals such as hinds and stags. From the end of September to the beginning of October, listen carefully to hear the bellowing of the stag! A trip in Sologne is also about tasting the local and authentic cuisine, including game, freshwater fish, mushrooms, tarte tatin, etc.
