Tourism / Discovery
This city of Sarzeau’s motto is ‘’A fluctibus opes’’, which translates to ‘’wealth comes from the sea’’. What could be more appropriate for this Breton location situated between the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Morbihan! Once a fishing village, it is now a popular town known for its relaxed atmosphere and extensive sandy beaches. They provide the ideal locations for your seafood gathering sessions.
A gem of nature and wildlife is waiting for you on the Rhuys peninsula. The Gulf of Morbihan, one of Europe’s most stunning locations, invites you to explore its fauna and flora with kayak, stand-up paddle and boat tours. Several kilometres from the motorhome stopover, the nautical base of the Logeo harbour is the starting point for a number of many outdoor and playful activities. Spend some time visiting the Duer bird sanctuary to observe hundreds of bird species.
The coastal path takes you on a journey along the shore for a moment in nature. In Sarzeau, there are 17 km of paths that you can follow on foot to admire the coastline.
800 years of history are retraced in the castle of Suscinio.
Curtain walls, allures, the drawbridge and towers are a true witness of the Duchy of Brittany. Several events are organised throughout the year: visits, workshops, strolls, crossbow, hunting camps, animal park… The whole family will be fascinated by the multitude of activities immersing the visitor into history.
