Evellys is a new town gathering three small villages in the middle of Morbihan, between Rennes and Saint-Brieuc. Its name comes from the two rivers that cross the town: Evel and Illys.
The outdoor activities center of Coëtdan, next to the campsite, is an ideal destination for a family holiday. In summer, cool off by the Naizin lake or hire a pedalo! Find also a miniature golf, an ice cream stall and take part in the events organised during the high season. For the rest of the year, this place invites you to stroll by the lake. You will surely meet goats, deers, hens and other animals from the park.
Discover Evellys on foot or by bike thanks to all the trails around the town. Follow the Saint-Claude path for a nice 4,5 km stroll or the Remungol trail referenced by « Vélo Promenades ». A walking and cycling path stretches for 5 km towards Pont Marteil and offers a beautiful excursion on the old railway line.
Ewen’s Garden is also showing an abundant nature: its thousands of trees, shrubs, perennials but also the springs and the stream take you on a beautiful stroll. Immerse yourself in Breton country: the old stones, the low walls, the ruins and traditional buildings from the 17th and 19th centuries have kept their traditional spirit.
The town takes particular pride in preserving its cultural and historical heritage. All year round, the association « L’art dans les chapelles » organises cultural activities for all and focuses on heritage and contemporary art.
