Tourism / Discovery
Situated on the Paris-Lyon axis, close to the A6 motorway and at the gateway to the Morvan Regional Park, Toutry is a village bordered by the river Le Serein. You will stay in the heart of the Auxois Morvan, between Semur-en-Auxois and Avallon.
Explore its heritage, testimony to a rich industrial past. The former Montzeron factory, built in the 19th century, was one of the pioneers of machine tool manufacture in France. Now deserted, it is now open to visitors on guided tours.
The village is home to a Café-Théâtre ‘Le Saint-Valentin’, which offers regular musical events throughout the year.
A few charming villages are to be discovered in the surroundings of Toutry, Semur-en-Auxois for instance. This medieval town less than 20 km from the campsite is renowned for its well-preserved heritage. Admire pretty cobbled streets and half-timbered houses, a Gothic collegiate church, a keep, ramparts and a recently restored wash-house.
Overlooking the Cousin valley, join the beautiful town of Avallon! It is listed among the ‘Plus Beaux Détours de France’.
30 km from Toutry, do not miss to visit Noyers-sur-Serein and Flavigny-sur-Ozerain.
