Great walk around chateau with dog, nice walk along river with two reasonable restaurants, good toilets and hot shower on site. . Some big pitches, only down side is road and train noise which we don't mind but not for light sleepers.

Belle petite aire camping-car avec de beaux emplacements et un bloc sanitaire complet avec WC, bac à linge, bac à vaisselle et douche 🚿 , ce qui est rare... En bref, tout ce qu'il faut...👍

A little gem
Great Aire. Afew minutes walk up to the beautiful chateau with stunning views over the Charente valley. Very quiet town but has afew restaurants down by the river. Aire has clean toilets and showers. Large pitches. Would definitely stop there again.

Very sleepy
Lovely little site with nice showers. Quite and peaceful but literally nothing there at all.

Good location.
A good location, beneath the castle walls. A bit of noise from the nearby railway, but not loud. The village is pretty, but ... quiet... dead, almost. But there are 3 restaurants very close to the campsite, one of which looks to be very good. We enjoyed burgers and beer on the riverside, in the evening sunshine, at one of the other two.
