At 1 euro whats not to like. It is just a car park its true but its 1 euro including 6 amps electricity. Walkable distance to the town, which yes 1 day is probably enough here, we were here in March and it was very quite, maybe busier in the summer? The walk up to the castle was challenging but the only alternative this time of year would be a taxi. In the summer months it looks like there is a bus service. There is a visitor parking area close to the castle which is big enough for motorhomes.

Amazing castle
Great value site a short walk from town with restaurants. A long walk up to the amazing castle - we did it but too far for me really. Beautiful Parador hotel next to the castle.

Great stopover
We’ve given this a five because it allowed us to stay so close to the lovely town of Lorca, which is an easy walk. At the end of the day, it’s a car park and it’s €1, so no frills but it felt safe and there were basic motorhome services. We arrived at 11:30am and took the last pitch (non-EHU). Tarmac a little uneven so we needed to level the van. Would stay again if we were in the area.

Aire très bien mais une personne que j’ai croisé a fait uriner son chien contre le mur de la bâtisse à l’entrée mais je lui ai fait savoir que ce n’était pas correct , étant étranger il a fait semblant de ne pas comprendre mais j’ai insisté et il est allé chercher un jerricane d’eau pour nettoyer, je lui ai quand même dit que c’était mieux ainsi. A part ce petit incident tout était parfait.

Well placed for visiting Lorca
Our two night stay was pleasant. The site is quiet and the town is accessible on foot or bike. We walked to the castle taking 50 minutes, worth the effort! There is only 12 electric points which work well. The service area is good, and there is room for extra pitches, but these would need electric points. All in all, this is a popular stop, but get there early as it fills up quickly, especially if you need electric. A welcome addition to Spanish camping.
