Great stopover site for ferries
Nice new small site in middle of Lion sur Mare. Bakery nearby and lots of bars/restaurants. 2 mins from Sword beach.

Urlaub in Lion-sur-Mer
Platz ist sehr gut und sauber. Nahe am Meer. Mit dem Fahrrad sind es 22 km (eine Strecke) nach Caen. Schöne Fahrt mit Radwegen. In die andere Richtung ebenfalls schöner Radweg und nahe am Meer. Zum empfehlen.

Kiwis at Lion sur Mer
Loads of wartime history nearby. Lovely to walk down to the beachfront. Small market on when we were there. Also samba and jive lessons on the beachfront for those interested. Lots of fun. Campsite small but had all we needed.

Great Stop
Very good stop close to the ferry, good sized pitches and central to the village. All amenities close by and right on the cycle route which is an easy cycle either way along the cost or down the canal to Caen. Could not keep count of the vans which were turned away so book ahead if you can.

Perfect for a stop over from the Caen ferry.
Superb Boulangerie in the town, 2 mins walk from parking. Miles and miles off break to walk and very quiet. 22 mins from the ferry port.

Not big but a great location
Tidy site in town, handy for everything on offer, 5 km walk to the big bunker Musée and well worth the walk! Memorials all along the sea front a reminder of times past and a moment of reflection! Loved every minute!!

Emplacements très étroits. Coupures intempestives d'électricité sans prévenir. Appel téléphonique auprès de Camping car Park, la personne m'indique qu'ils pratiquent des délestages. Le tarif n'est pas délesté pour autant. A ne pas conseiller. Très déçus. Nous n'étions pas habitués à cette pratique. Un geste commercial pour cette journée me semble justifié. Dans l'attente. Comptant sur le professionnalisme de l'équipe Camping car Park.
