Another quintessential town
Great little aire in the middle of a recreation park, next to a lake just outside the town. It's about a 15-20 minute walk to the center with several lovely restaurants and bars. Some of the buildings are really old dating back to the 15th century. Sadly we missed the abbey museum which is closed on a Monday and Tuesday. Depending where you end up parking you may need a longer lead to plug in. Level site no need to use ramps but pitches are not wide, another nice aire and place to stay.

Goede plaatsen maar weinig schaduw , je kan wel met je campingstoel in t gras en schaduw gaan zitten of aan het water

Nous nous y sommes arrêtés pour une nuit ,l'aire n'est pas au top les poubelles pleines de mouches et de vers qui en sortaient Le soir va et vient continue de voitures sur le parking juste à côté et ce jusque très tard et les camions de la ville au matin qui font un sacré bouquant.....bref hors saison peut être est ce plus calme et mieux pour profiter des activités possibles

A Great place, but not on a market day
Nice park up, we were alongside a tree, backing onto a path that circulates the park. At around 2.30 in the morning, the stall holders began to arrive. End of sleep. There were noisey vehicles, trailers etc. People shouting. If you're going to stay, make sure the following morning, Sunday, is not market day!
