Very good area
This Area is very well located for visiting Caen, about 10m walk from the center. Next door is the Second World War Memorial. The spaces are generous and well defined, there is electricity. Water dumps and loads are carried out outside the area with gates, but only if you have a card.

Quiet stay
Clean well spaced pitches, some road noise but quietened down at night. Nice walk to the memorials. Handy for a stop after or before the ferry if you’re lucky to get a spot. Would stop again if needed.

Très belle aire!
Parfait pour visiter la ville. Il y a un bus à 100m mais c’est aussi possible à pieds si on n’a pas peur de marcher un peu.

Très bien pour visiter le mémorial
Mais la ville de Caen vaut qu'on y reste quelques jours. Bon la proximité de la rocade reste bruyante ( vivement la voiture électrique...) Le nombre de sirène de samu, pompier ou police reste impressionnant. Mais est-ce cela la ville ? Mais je ne suis pas déçu par cette aire qui reste confortable et bien située si on admet les inconvénients inhérents mais connus.

Very clean well maintained site. Right next door to the war museum, which is a must but give yourself 4 to 5 hrs to get round it. Good cafe in the museum. You can get the number 2 bus into the city centre (stop right outside the aire). We walked it and took us 30 mins in as all downhill. A little longer coming back up. We stopped 2 nights but would return.
