Located 10 kilometers south from Bergerac, Rouffignac-de-Sigoulès is a lovely village in the Monbazillac vineyards. The site is only 5 kilometers from the prestigious castle of Monbazillac, which overlooks the Dordogne. Visits and wine tastings are open from May to October; it is the perfect occasion to admire this edifice and its panoramic view, but also to meet passionate winegrowers. As for the hikes, follow the Rouffignac-de-Sigoulès loop (2,3 km) crossing the Bergerac and Monbazillac vineyards. Admire the church renovated in the 14th century, the Bridoire castle, a private medieval castle from the 15th century listed as a National Heritage Site and the Montdoyen castle with its dovecote. You can also visit the Bridoire castle, where numerous events are organized all year round (Easter, maze, Nuits Hantées (haunted nights) and Olympiades de l’Histoire (Olympiads)…).
