Tourism / Discovery
56 km east of Troyes, Bar-sur-Aube is a charming little town crossed by the Aube, in the middle of the Champagne province.
Champagne means vineyards. Discover them during a bike ride, a workshop, a picnic, a hike or even an escape game. You can also spend a day with a winegrower to fully understand his world and leave with many souvenirs (and bottles of wine!). The national label ‘’Vignobles & Découvertes’’ certifies an authentic tourist experience and an excellent welcome in this winegrowing region.
To fully immerse yourself in enology, take part in the major regional event ‘’La Route du Champagne en Fête’’. This weekend allows you to discover many wine cellars and to taste the typical wines of the Côte des Bar.
The Aube offers magnificent landscapes for your activities: strolls, fishing trips, canoe outings… many ideas to enjoy this peaceful river. Boat hire is available every day from April to September (booking required).
Walk along the ‘’Paume’’ trail to discover Bar-sur-Aube and its monuments in a fun way: half-timbered houses, Saint-Pierre church, Ursulines monastery, Saint-Maclou church…
Spend a day at the amusement park of Nigloland (10 km from the motorhome stopover). The park has many attractions for children, amusement rides and shows.
