Have a responsible attitude

Once an important city of the Papal States, Valréas has kept its rich heritage: it has nearly 1000 years of history to discover, but is also a place with exceptional events, prestigious wines and a significant economic and tourist activity.

Valréas is a blooming city, capital of L'Enclave des Papes, with its 10.000 inhabitants and regional economic centre.

The CAMPING-CAR PARK stopover of Valréas is located in the heart of the town (take the Baujard Stadium direction) and has 23 pitches. Discover many tourist attractions around this site:

-Simiane Castle

-Notre-Dame de Nazareth Church

-Pénitents Blancs Chapel

-Ripert Tower

- Musée du Cartonnage et de l'Imprimerie (Cardboard and Printing Museum)

You can also taste the famous Cote du Rhône wines, without mentioning all local products such as lavender, olive oil, truffle, Picodon Cheese and the delicious Palets du Moulin, shortbread cookies with honey and hazelnuts.

Valréas also has many outdoor activities such as mountain biking, hiking, swimming (municipal swimming pool open in July and August every day) and even paragliding!

The farmers market offers the flavors of Provence on Wednesdays and Saturdays. To be enjoyed without moderation!
