Last-minute booking, known as "Securiplace"
This mode allows you to book a pitch the same day you arrive (exclusively available on our website). Your reservation starts from the moment you have paid your booking online until 12 pm the next day or the day you've chosen. You can arrive on the area as soon as you have received the confirmation.
In all the cases, the maximum stay on an area is of 21 consecutive days.
This CAMPING-CAR PARK site has 15 pitches in the heart of nature, along the Ardèche river, 3 km from Ruoms. To access the area, follow the “Grand Terre” campsite direction.

Welcome to the CAMPING-CAR PARK site of Ruoms!
To access it, follow the direction of the "Grand Terre" campsite, the site is located just in front of it. It is set on the edge of the Ardèche River, 3 km from the Ruoms, this area is also accessible by bike or on foot by the "Voie verte" (Greenway path).
This stopover site is located a few minutes from the Ardèche Canyon and has a direct access to the river where you can go for a swim or rent canoes to explore it.
A MUST-SEE !! “Caverne du Pont d'Arc”, just 10 Km from the site: Discover this unique achievement in the world: the reconstitution of the original Chauvet cave. It is an extraordinary visit where the first artists of humanity have painted the world of men and women 36 000 years ago.
Ruoms is an old medieval village built in the 10th century, Its current name appears in 1464 from Celtic origins: Ritomagus (Ford field) since the village was built close a ford on the Ardèche river where people could could cross it.
Its walls with 7 round towers, the Church and its Romanesque architecture, the Notre Dame des Pommiers Chapel, were erected between the 10th and 12th century.
Ruoms is a region of quarries that had been exploited until fifty years ago. The limestones from these quarries were used in the construction of many monuments and structures.
Ruoms was also a small industrial city with some breweries that have been closed since 1967. Beer production has been replaced by wine's. As a matter of fact, Ruoms has the largest wine cooperative in Ardèche: the "Vignerons ardéchois".
Free Wifi: Wifi is available for free at the campsite bar, 20 metres from the area. Connections are limited to 30 minutes every 6 hours for 15 days. Tickets for the code can be picked up at the bar from 8 a.m. to midnight in July and August, at the reception of the campsite in low season and SMS at any time. WiFi is not available directly on the area.
