In South Brittany, the CAMPING-CAR PARK of Riantec is located in the Kerdurand Castle's park. At only 600m from the beach and 200m from the shops, this area is at the heart of three hectares of greenery.
Between earth and sea, Riantec is quite close to Lorient (you can go there in 10 minutes by taking a water bus). Also, the “petite mer de Gâvres” (a natural site listed on "Natura 2000") borders Riantec and its 9km of sea shore. The beaches of the peninsula are only 2 minutes away from the motorhome site (also by taking the water bus).
The castle neighboring the CAMPING-CAR PARK area of Riantec was built in the early 18th century. Today, it is the centre of many cultural events. It is also the starting point of many hiking tours from where you can explore the Dreff marshes, the dolmen of Kerporel or the village of Kerven, the watermill of Servins, the windmills of Kerbel and Locjean, the tide mill of Stervins, and many more!
Visit the Sainte Radegonde Church, dating from the 11th century and take a break near the pond by the Sainte Radegonde fountain…
For a nature-oriented outing near Riantec, the Maison de l’Ile Kerner welcomes more than 6000 visitors each year.
Let yourself be carried away by the buzzing of the many festivals and local "fest-noz" parties and give in to the delicious local food products.
