Welcome to the CAMPING-CAR PARK area of Porté-Puymorens. This village is located at the Pyrénées-Orientales department, in the Occitanie region. Porté Puymorens is a village in the middle of the Catalan Pyrenees, located at 20 km from Spain, 10 km from the Principality of Andorra and the village Pas de la Case.
This motorhome site is set right next to the municipal camp-site that has some useful facilities like a small mini-market open all summer and a pizza place.
Porte Puymorens is a central place for hiking. It has a savage and well-preserved landscape attracting many nature lovers. During summer, come and practice all activities the mountain has to offer such as mountain bikes, horse riding, tyroliennes, canyoning, climbing and fishing in lakes or rivers.
Discover some interesting places and monuments at Porte-Puymorens like the Cerdagne Tower, built in the 11th century to defend the Valleys entrance. Also visit the Notre Dame Parish Church and the Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Oratory.
Nature lovers, know that you can observe some mouflons, marmot, and Pyrenean chamois in the Font Vives Valley. Some bears, lynx and wolves also make their sporadic appearances.
