Have a responsible attitude

Loctudy's seashores have around 10km of sand beaches separated by rocky ridges, making it a perfect place for shore fishing.

The fishing port is well known for the famous local Langoustine species ("Demoiselles de Loctudy").
Between June and September, and during school holidays, a small ferry at the port takes visitors to the charming Tudy Isle.
For those of you who like sports, you will find various activities like sailing, tours on the Odet river, outings around the Glénat Islands and playing tennis at the local club.
A beautiful hiking path GR 34 goes through the city and towards the seashore and riverside where you will have the opportunity to observe herons, cormorants and little egrets.

The town's heritage is very rich:

  • The roman church, dating back in late 11th century and early 12th is also one of the most preserved monuments in Brittany
  • The Kérazan Manor has a gorgeous collection of potteries from Quimper and local paintings
  • Numerous chapels, fountains, megaliths sites hidden in the countryside are to be seen along the numerous hiking and cycling paths

Many events are organized throughout the high season such as concerts, exhibitions, fairs, guided tours in the church, cultural conferences, initiations and various contests.

You will find many good restaurants in town offering delightful variations of seafood, fishes and fresh local products.
