THE STOPOVER SITE
The stopover site at Brain-sur-Allonnes has 20 pitches, on the old municipal campsite, near to the forest. It is ideally located, 500 m from the town and all shops and amenities. For a refreshing few hours, or an outing with the children, there is an open air swimming pool just 200 m from the site. It is open from the 7th July until the 2nd of September, from Tuesday to Sunday, 2 pm until 7 pm (2,50€/adults, 1,50€/children, free entry for children under 3 years old). It also sells fresh drinks and sweets.
Discover lots of hiking paths close to the site, including the new Mademoiselle Gabrielle trail, which is accessible to persons with reduced mobility. This was made possible by the ONF (National Forestry Office)
Brain-sur-Allonnes is between Saumur and Bourgueil in Maine-et-Loire, in the Pays-de-la-Loire. The town belongs to the Saumur Val de Loire agglomeration. Discover the history and heritage of Brain-sur-Allonnes. it is a truly medieval style town !
