Great for the port of caen

We stay here a few times love it as it only 6km from Caen port. Supermarket is really close and the beach.

Fantastic

Fantastic little Aire in Lion-sur-Mer. In the centre of town with lots of nice places to eat, a bakery and supermarket. Right next to church so expect an early morning call. 10 min to Brittany Ferries, Caen. Beautiful beach 5 min walk. A WW2 Cemetery in next village, easy walk.

A bit noisy

This site is ideally placed for the ferry terminal and Lion sur mer itself The downside is the road noise, which seemed to go on all night Spacious pitches adjacent to a car park ,woukd we use it again yes with earplugs The town has a supermarket bakers and pharmacy together with seversl restaurants ,advisable to book ahead

Dans le centre ville

Ne pas hésiter vous êtes en ville près des magasins et au calme. La gazon vous manquera mais la mer est là.

Mooi plekje om de omgeving te bekijken. Rustig en dat midden in het centrum 👍

Mitten im Ort aber ruhig.

Obwohl der Stellplatz mitten im Ort ist, haben wir hier ruhig und gut gestanden. Nur wenige Minuten zum Strand oder zu einigen Restaurants.

History and lovely beach for dogs.

Been to other d-day beaches but not sword, plenty to see. Restaurants OK for seaside. CCP facilities fine, near main road so there is a bit of road noise. Unfortunately there were over 8 motorhomes staying in the regular car park taking spaces away from local people and visitors. This is annoying locals, also I don't understand why French people don't clean up after thier dogs, you have the most beautiful country in the world! Why leave your dog mess around it?
