No electric and bad spacing
The pitches are not defined so many people taking too much space using it like a campsite with awning, tables and chairs so other cannot get space. On our current stay there were 4 German Caravans taking up lots of space. We were unable to get electric as no sockets left. Neighbour had low battery and children so allowed them to have it. White lines or demarcation needs to be added to let people know allocated space and needs policing to stop caravans using the Aire and taking space for 4 cars

Spot on for an early crossing
Nothing scenic about this location but is perfect for its intended purpose. The facilities just outside the barrier are also super useful so you can empty your tanks etc

Großer Stellplatz nah am Strand
Platz hat alles, was der autarke Camper benötigt. Ca 1,6 km bis zum Hafen bzw 2 km bis zum Zentrum mit dem Belfried. Alles fussläufig gut erreichbar. Versorgung ist großzügig für parallel 4 Fahrzeuge außerhalb der Schranke vorhanden. Ruhiger Platz, als Zwischenstopp zu empfehlen.

Excellent Aire
We have stayed on this aire many times before it was part of camping car park group. The only problem was no electric hook up. But now hook upon every pitch so great. Also all buses in Calais are free so take one from not far from entrance to city centre at no cost

Strom und Wasser top, der Platz war auch gut, vom WLAN keine Spur. Alles in allem war es ein guter Aufenthalt. Strand schnell zu erreichen und zum einkaufen war auch was zu fuss erreichbar. Schöne Gegend.

Great ferry/tunnel site.
A great site very close to the beaches and harbours of Calais. Plenty of spaces with electric and water services just outside the barrier. Quite close to City Europe shopping centre to stock up with supplies, essential or otherwise. With 24 hour access it is ideal as a first stop into France or for travelling to UK via the tunnel or by ferries. Because of this it is a bit pricey.
